Wanted: Arts Administration Intern

Artistic Director Sydnie L. Mosley (BC '07) of Sydnie L. Mosley Dances seeks highly motivated intern(s) interested in arts administration. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for students to participate in building an arts organization from the ground up. Duties will include assistance in grant research/writing, event planning, fund raising, marketing/pr and managing of company rehearsals and performances, among other administrative tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Successful candidate(s) should also be detail oriented, organized, take initiative, work well independently, and have a positive demeanor. Interest and knowledge of New York City modern dance scene are a plus. Internship is unpaid and has flexible hours (10-20/week). Interns should expect to work closely with Artistic Director. The work frequently uses voice, text, and audible breath and seeks to actively engage the audience, even if it is only a visceral reaction to the physicality on stage.
