It's been a couple days since Merce Cunningham passed away and I have been lacking the words or ideas to make any sort of comment.
I mean, what kind of comment can you make about a man who repeatedly and significantly influenced American modern dance for almost all of the near-century he lived?
I think I'll just take a cue from the artist himself and let his final movement, moving from this world to the next, speak for itself.
