We are down to crunch time and I've got so much anxiety about my future as an American. If nothing else though, I have drawn incredible inspiration from Barack Obama and his ability to relentlessly, gracefully, and powerfully exceed expectations, always doing the best job that he can do.
I encourage you all to read The New Yorker's endorsement, "The Choice." The article is a persuasive, fact of the matter account of Bush's failed presidency and the hope Obama brings to our American future through "a formidable intelligence, emotional empathy, self-reflection, balance, and a remarkable ability to see life and the world through the eyes of people very different from himself."
Another good read is in an Austin, Texas newspaper, reporting on a 109-year old African-American woman who has been able to cast her vote for the first black presidential candidate. The daughter of a slave, and a life that has touched three centuries, she is the reason I exercise my right to vote.
Lastly, I'd like to leave you with a little inspiration and understanding of what my sister calls, Obama's sexy swag.
