Last Wednesday, I had the pleasure of sitting on a panel, at an event sponsored by the Barnard Center for Research on Women. As you may recall, during the 2011-2012 academic year, I was the inaugural Alumnae Fellow and the support they provided me played a large role in being able to produce The Window Sex Project. When they asked me to be a part of this discussion of young women activists (all under the age of 30), I was honored and happily obliged.
I had a lovely time conversing with Dior Vargas, Jessica Danforth, Julie Zeilinger and first time moderator Dina Tyson! I learned so much from them and I think some interesting themes rose from the conversation. See below.
