Spring Happenings!

FACT: I am not as technologically savvy as I may seem (being a blogger and all).

I've been trying to send out an email newsletter for a couple weeks now using one of those services like Constant Contact (but not) to no avail. So below you'll find all the things I want to tell you (because so many things are happening!). And perhaps (hopefully! *fingers crossed*) you might get an email with the details before all the events actually happen.

News
Seeking Interns!
I am seeking highly motivated interns interested in arts administration. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for students or recent graduates to participate in building an arts organization from the ground up. Duties will include assistance in grant research/writing, event planning, fund raising, marketing/pr and managing of company rehearsals and performances, among other administrative tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Successful candidate(s) should also be detail oriented, organized, take initiative, work well independently, and have a positive demeanor. Interest and knowledge of New York City modern dance scene are a plus.

Internship is unpaid and has flexible hours (10-20/week). Current students should seek out funding or college credit from their institution.

Interested persons should send resume and cover letter to sydnielmosleydances@gmail.com.

Please pass this information along to qualified candidates you may know!

Sydnie! Try MailChimp for emails like this. It's free, so long as you have fewer than 500 contacts, and it's absurdly simple.
